Welcome to the Skidmore Goodman Perinatal Research IMaging and Evaluation (PRIME) Centre

The PRIME Centre is an ultrasound research facility at BC Women’s Hospital + Health Centre.  The PRIME Centre is a hub for researchers to collaborate and to advance health care through the use of cutting edge technology. A grant from the Canadian Foundation for Innovation in 2015 initiated creation of the PRIME centre infrastructure which is dedicated to research and training.

With the generous support of the Skidmore Goodman family, BC Women’s Hospital Foundation, the Women’s Health Research Institute, and BC Women’s Hospital, PRIME is a unique and world-class facility. PRIME offers researchers the opportunity to use specialized equipment and dedicated space in order to promote new discoveries to benefit the health of women and families.
